Mr. Shroff practices in the area of corporate and securities law. He has advised numerous public and private entities on a variety of acquisition transactions, securities offerings, corporate governance issues and compliance matters. He regularly counsels members of management in the retail, hospitality, financial services, pharmaceutical and merchant banking industries. Mr. Shroff’s representative transactions include the acquisitions of a telecommunications business, a pharmaceutical company, a Netherland’s based software developer and the purchase of a controlling stake in an Indian retail bank. He has coordinated a number of multi-jurisdictional deals and has been primarily responsible for the negotiation and drafting a variety of transactional and investor related agreements.
Mr. Shroff graduated, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 2000 and in 2001 received his M.S., with merit, from the London School of Economics. In 2004, he received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team and winner of the 1st place prize for oral argument in the Western regional competition. He is admitted to the bar of New York.
Before joining Dornbush Schaeffer Strongin & Venaglia, LLP Mr. Shroff was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions.
