The firm’s real estate group represents both public and private companies in a variety of industries and transactions. In addition to the representation of clients acquiring, selling or financing real property for their own use or for investment purposes, we specialize in large leasing transactions (both commercial and retail), and the sale, acquisition and refinancing of retail businesses with substantial real estate holdings.
Our largest corporate clients utilize the firm’s real estate department for the leasing, sale, acquisition, and development of real property as well as for the preparation and negotiation of complex architect, contractor and construction management agreements.
Although we perform residential closings as an accommodation to our clients, we bring the same level of accessibility, commitment, excellence and responsiveness to those assignments as we do to larger matters.

- Representation of the purchaser of a retail business that included approximately 200 company owned and franchisee operated stores located throughout the country, including all aspects of the transaction—negotiation of purchase agreement, due diligence, and Hart Scott Rodino antitrust filings.
